25 may As at Yucca Valley, the Pteromygids were not in obvious reproductive status. Of those that were scrotal were only partly so. ?? did not have distended mammae. Also, as at Yucca Valley, the Peromyscus showed obvious reproductive conditions. ?? were sometimes pregnant, other times nursing - although only ~ 1/2 the ?? were in these categories. Other mammals indigenous here weren't seen - except the burrow which called through the night. The weather during our day-long stay there was warm - 75-80°F in the day, 55-60°F at night. Last night was clear for the most part w/ 3/4 moon. 10 am depart for Berkeley.
