P. Brylski 1981 Journal "Yucca Valley", ~ 7 1/2 mi. E. Coso Junction (May 14) Fresno Co., California 23 may Sign is prominent everywhere (diggings). Wild burro scat is also numerous. Expected species include Perognathus longimembris, P. parvus perhaps D. panamintinus, D. merriami, D. deserti D. microps, Peromyscus eremicus, P. maniculatus Neotoma lepida, Onychomys leucogaster. 24 may 630 am The lines are being checked. The few traps seen by me on my way to my line seemed to have excellent success. 1030 am All traps are in, I set 25 traps & 4 were open this morning. These 4 were faulty. The rest had animals.
