May 18 Russian Gulch, Mendocino Co., Calif.
Flat on top hill just north of J camp. Trapped one
in low growth bracken, manzanita, huckleberry,
Cupressus pygmyaet Pinus muricata not over 5 or 6
feet high. Open place near fence and ground
comparatively dry.
