Boucher, ST 1941 32 Eutamias townsendii May 23 Russian Gulch State Park, 500 ft., Mendocino Co., Calif. The trap was hanging by its wire over the side of log. Vegetation described May 20. May 25 Frances came in with a ♀ chipmunk caught in one 2:30 PM of the rat traps we had set for woodrats near meats in Douglas Fir tree north of the pavilion. About 45° slope, overgrown with mints, poison oak, thimble- berry, and morning glory. Trap baited with prune.
