partly effective on the Loddin River. Five circumstances were made for our force officer to see me. Five body horses and four riding horses, with [illegible] at the main entrance of the police station in the morning, with my leave early in the morning. The police are looking for evidence. [illegible] while the [illegible] was being searched. The police officer had a specific order from the office to search for two or three persons on the street. Some of them were not identified by name, but they were also members of the [illegible]. The living ambulance service is a public service and is not subsidized in any way. It is only financed by contributions from people. A good contribution to the service is also one week's salary. The service is available to those who live in these remote places. (5'jne0) 8 Aug 1946
