Journal 29 6 Boell Ojo Saguna, Chihuahua, at 5000 ft. 163 Metrio March 17 continued Blue Heron, one observed sitting (standing) on a small hummock in the lake. I was able to approach within 100 yards and examine it with binoculars. Snow Goose, about 80 in a compact flock standing in the shallow water. I flushed them three times but was not able to get closer than 200 yards. They were observed standing in flight with binoculars. There appear to be no snow geese or Canada goose on the lake. Longbilled Curlew, one observed with binoculars at 100 yards but I was not able to collect it. Gull sp? - one smallish, large white gull seen flying over the lake.
