Journal 27 R & E Bodeff Ojo Laguna, Chihuahua, 5000 ft., N.W. Mexico March 17 cold and windy, wind very strong in P.M. Temp at 3pm = 68° went to the Laguna ponds near camps ad also to the big lake. Red-wing blackbirds - more present see note for Mar 14 (P-24) Wilson Snipe - still present in usual numbers. Diaz Durbos - 10 in one flock, 3 in r. another Green-winged Teal - Flock of 8 on small pond near camps. Took two - both were thin, a wa small. Noted no other change in bird population in marsh or around ponds near camp. Herps - saw one small lizard run under a rock pile near camp. - the first this season over
