Journal 2/1 E Borel Ojo Sajuna, Chihuahua, Mexico 963 March 12 (continued) Least? Sandpipers - 30 seen around the big lake and in wet areas nearer camp. They could have been around previously but I did not see any. Snowy Plover 1 - collected in shallow waters of the big lake. It was with western sandpipers. Pipit - saw about 15, collected 1. Coot - saw one on same post where one was collected on Mar 6. Crane - Mrs. Guterriez told me that cranes stop in the flats around the lake. To-day I observed tracks and droppings of cranes and picked up one crane feather. Snow Goose - Mrs. Guterriez reports that white geese stop around the lake. I have found no proof.
