Journal (continued) 14 Summary Feb 27 - March 10 (written March 10) Borell Ojo Laguna, Chilpancingo, Mexico 1963 Ducks. There is plenty water but ducks are scarce. Diag Ducks have been the most common duck during this period. Saw 1 & -9 almost every day. Saw no evidence of pairing (1 collected) Green-winged Teal - several seen the first few days - none since. Baldpate one male collected, one other male seen. Cinnamon teal - one collected, no others seen. Mallard. One drake seen this morning in small pool with one diag duck. A few other unidentified ducks were seen early on March 2 - appeared to be Green-winged Teal.
