Journal Summary continued Feb. 27 - March 10 EBORELL Ojos Laguna Chihuahua Mex 963 Herps - a few tadpoles seen in one pool. Toads heard one night at one pool no snakes or lizards seen to date. Mammals - I have done little trapping but did catch several Peromyscus maniculatus, 1 cottontail 2/ Orychorys. Have seen only one bat. Raccoon tracks of at least two raccoons have been seen in the trails in this month - none taken. Rabbits are extremely scarce have seen fresh pellets of jackrabbit only in one place - no evidence of cottontail. Coyote - heard on 3 nights, few tracks Mejlate Two just before I came here.
