large cottonwood. Have
heard barn owls screech
on previous nights.

left camp at 7 a.m., headed
for Juarez ad home.
* About 1/3 as many Diaz ducks present
in this area as were here in April
1963. This is likely due to the drought
- there is little water except that in
the 4 principal ojos.
