Boell 1966 Ojo Saguna, Siena del rido, 5200 ft. el. Chilacua met Apr 17. Cold windy and partially cloudy day new birds x Belted Kingfisher- new for this location not collected- too wary. Ruby Crowned Kinglet. Apr 18 Cold ad windy 7am. watched repetual flight at dusk. a ♀ quacking loudly and continuously flew in a wide high arc for about 1/2 mile. she was closely pursued by two (silent) birds, apparently males. a fourth bird followed (silent) about 100 feet behind the other three. This is the fourth time I have seen these flights in the six days. In the first instance the ♀ quacking loudly and continuous was followed by only one δ (silent).In two other cases she was followed by 2 ♂s. Two flights were in early morning, two at dusk.*(see p 11)
