Borell Ojo Sajuna, 5,200 ft. el. 1966 Sierra del Vado, Chihuahua Mex. Apr.13 continued. Two years, 1964 ad 1965, have been very dry - less than 7 inches each year. Most of the rain comes in July ad August with small azito, in June ad Sept. This morning I took a long walk (4 hrs) through the mesquite ad out to this ojo in the Tabora plato. Mesquite is just beging to come into leaf, willows are in flower, catclaw shows little green. Cottonwood are about half way to full lefage - there is little evidence of the emergence of animals. Due to the two year desricts the ojos are low ad most of the wet areas recently from the overflow from the Ojos are dry.
