journal Buell Ojo de Fajana, 5200 ftel. Sierra 1966 del Vado, Chihuahua, Mex. Gutierrez Ranch. April 13. Margaret ad I brought our trailer to this old collecting site at 10 a.m. yesterday. Found m. ad ms. Gutierrez in good health ad cordial as usual. Dr. ad ms. Martin H. Gonzalez, Director, Rancho Experimental La Campana stopped by yesterday afternoon. He reported that last year he had heard of two small black bears being killed in the range south of the Sierra del Vado. He has had recent reports of guzzhis from this area. Gonzales, whose experiment station is about 15 mi. south of our collecting site on the Gutierrez Ranch said that the average rainfall here is 14 inches. The last
