Boell 1964 nov 28 Lazo La Sajas, Rio Santa Clara 18 continued 4900 ft. Chih., Mex appeared to be Diaz Ducks. These large ducks appear to feed in the corn fields at night then spend the day on the lake or along the river. When the lake fills this should be a fairly important stopping place and possibly wintering place for many kinds of ducks. Also it will be a real help to nesting Diaz ducks. Hunting - There were no other American hunters here during our stay. I expect that there will be american hunters here when the lake fills and becomes better known. I was surprised at the number of natural hunters we saw hunters at head shooting every day. Most of the hunters had 22's, at least two had shot guns and we heard some shooting that sounded like a rifle larger than 22.
