Chilmatua April 17 6262 Empidonax ♀ teste small. from willow. 6263 Garter Snake, from wetarea near ojo. 6264 Diaz duck ♀ wt. 1½ lbs. over 3 x 4 m.m. Bill yellow-orange, light greenish near base ud tip, nail dark, ridge and a widened 'saddle' brownish. Brown ridge separated from nail by greenish. Feet coral or dark pinkish orange. was with 4 others. The skin was very greasy but there was not a heavy layer of fat. Many pin feathers absent ½ developed, remh down. V 6265 Tree Swallow ♀ two. minute April 18 6266 White-wing Dove ♀ teste enlarged 13 x 5 m.m. cere blue, iris yellowish orange. Fat. - 6267 Crissal Thrasher ♀ one enlarged 2 x 2 April 20 poorly 6268 Scaled Quail (crop only) from 5 killed for the table testes of 2 ♀. enlarged 3 x 4 m.m. over 2 3♀ not enlarged.
