Journal 52 Borell 1964 Summary Apr 21 - May 20 Continued Ojefoguna, 5200 ftel. Clikuhua, mex peromyscus, less abundant than in 1963. no formal trap lines were run but last year and this year traps were kept set in favorable places to keep mice out of camp supplies. Last year I felt that the population was greater and did- supply more emphaustable than in any place that I was ever in. Last year my traps continued to catch peromyscus throughout the two months we were here. The traps were set in the same spots night after night. This year camp is in exactly the same spot and many of the traps are along the adobe wall and beside the trailer tires where they were in 1963. This year Apr 21- May 20, ten traps caught 2 or 3 peromyscus each night for the first week. During the past three weeks the catch of peromyscus has averaged 3 per. week from the ten traps. Most of them were adults, very few of the 50 were pregnant
