Journal Semmay apr.21-may 20 continued Borell 1964 Ojosaguna,5203 ft, Chihutla Mex Mammal notes. Coyote, I believe they are not so common here as last year. Saw two together, the only ones seen, heard them barking on three different nights. Few tracks seen. Raccoon. less common than last year. Saw only one set of fresh tracks and caught that individual, an adult pregnant ?, the next night. I maintained a bait station along one of the main trails in the marsh but only this one stopped there during a three week period. Skunk. Less common than last year. none seen, none stopped at the bait station and very few tracks were seen. Bobcat - no tracks seen. Black bear, see note for may 1 Mule deer, see notes for may 1.
