There has been less "crowing" this year than last Barn Owl, several individuals (or the same bird seen several times). no mating calls around camp as was the case last year and finished one from a Cottonwood may 19 Horned Owl heard at camp one night, no other owls seen or heard. Poorwill, one heard near camp Lesser Night Hawk were common on April 21 ad still are. Humming bird broad tailed, one collected, few others heard. Red-shafted Chicken, one on several occasions, none recently. Saddlebacked Woodpecker, one or two individuals seen around one group of Cottonwoods & willows. Not common.
