Journal Borell 1964 Ojo Laguna, 5200 ft Chihuahua Mex. Summary April 21 - May 19 Continued Ma Dove, three lone birds here, Common along the Santa Clara from Flores Major to San Lorenzo. Cuckoo, yellow billed one collected, spect heard twice may 18. Road runner, a few seen here and at Flores major. There has been less "crowing" this year than last Barn Owl, several individuals (or the same bird seen several times). no mating calls around camp as was the case last year and finished one from a Cottonwood may 19 Horned Owl heard at camp one night, no other owls seen or heard. Poorwill, one heard near camp Lesser Night Hawk were common on April 21 ad still are. Humming bird broad tailed, one collected, few others heard. Red-shafted Chicken, one on several occasions, none recently. Saddlebacked Woodpecker, one or two individuals seen around one group of Cottonwoods & willows. Not common.
