5 P. m.
White Cr. Sparrows are as
Numerous around camp as ever
Hermit Thrush - 1
Waterthrush - 1 collected.
Audubon Warbler - several ?
May 13
Cool windy day. 56° F at 7 a.m.
Took a two mile hike through
the marsh ad mesquite.
Biologically it has been a quiet
day.
Solitary Sandpiper - 1
Chipping Sparrow - 1
Brewer Sparrow - 8
Blackheaded Grosbeak were common
about our feeding area (4 or 5 in
sight most of the time on May 10 and 11.
To-day we have seen more
Blue grosbeak - 1
Inca Dove 1 & cooing
Western Tanager - 6
Townsend Warbler 1
Audubon warbler - 4 ? in sight
at one time - this is a definite increase.
