Ojo la suma, Chihuahua, 5200ft mex
Another very windy day 60 at 7am.
Some bird notes.
Glossy ibis, lone bird collected
in small marsh, first one seen.
Phalaropes - the small flock that has been
here since may 3 was not present
today.
Blue winged teal, shot 2 & 1 for the post.
& was fat, tes 14 x 4. & thin over not enlarged.
Coat - three in marshy area
Sharp-shinned hawk - just seen
Townsend warbler & no's seen so far.
No Siskins - the small flock that
has been around camp until
yesterday morning were not seen today
Wilson warbler, a few still
around - about 1/2 female.
Black-headed Grosbeak 3 & 1 common
around camp.
Blue Grosbeak 3 & 1 & around
camp
Summer Tanager 2 &
Western Tanager 3 & 1 common
around camp.
Orchard Oriole; adult &, immature
& and &, common.
