Borel 1964 Journal Ojo Fajuna, Chihuahuax Mex. 5200 ft. April 27 1964 A warm windy day. Saw no birds not recorded yesterday, April 23 Cold night, warm and very windy day. new birds Sandpipers (Western or East?) - 14 Wilson warblers still abundant Wood pewee - 10. Worm-eating Warbler Wilson snipe - 2 unable to collect Falcon, (Buteo hawk or Prairie Falcon?) - one April 24 Trip to Flores Magon, about 65 miles. Cloudy in the morning, very windy in the P.M. Still some water flowing in Santa Clara Creek. The new dam on Santa Clara creek above the town of Flores Magon is supposed to be ready to store water this August. All of the vegetation in the vicinity of Flores is further advanced than at Ojo Fajuna. There is an excellent camp and collecting site about 1/2 mi. South of the paved highway on the east bank of the Santa Clara. River big podo and many willows nd cottonwoods
