Journal 62 1963 Mexico & Boell Ojo la jara, Chihuahua 500 ft al. Jan. 24 continued Bullock Oriole, male & occasionally f's are present in every large alamo. There is much chattering & singing among the f's. Emplidonax - several seen. They have been scarce or absent most days generally. Ash-throated Flycatcher - 10 - constantly chattering & chasing. Say Phoebe - 8 - a second nest with three eggs found on wilton will of old adobe. Kingbird (Cassin or welcker) - 10 much chattering & chasing. Vermilion Flycatcher - 8 mostly paired & apparently mating. Marsh Hawk - 3 Sparrow Hawk - 2 Red-tailed Hawk - 1 Swainson Hawk - 1 Accipiter (possibly Cooper) - 1 Wilson warbler f's present in almost every willow & alamo. Audubon warbler - 3 m Yellowthroat - 1 no other warblers
