April 15. Still cool at night but getting warmer during the day. 44° at 6:30 am. 82° at 1 p.m. Trees are not yet in full leaf and some shrubs like catclaw ad some plants of mesquites are just begin to put out leaves. Willows are in full flower but leaves only about 1/2 out. The flowers of willows apparently attract insects and therefore many birds—especially warblers.
