Diaz ducks - a group of 3 & a group of 2. 700 other ducks Geese, snow a flock of 30 flew low from the big lake at 7.30 this am. Barn Swallows - 8 over the marsh - first seen this year. Palm warbler - none seen in trees where present yesterday Townish wren - 2 in big cottonwoods both males - 7 males. March 31 Temp 7am = 46°. Temp 3pm. = 68° Trip around the ponds near camp and to big lake. Diaz ducks - 3 Shoveller - 50 Avocet - 100, one collected Curlew - 54; one collected Gull - ring billed? - 8, one collected Virginia Rail - That one taken in trap. Blue heron - one on big lake Geese - none.
