Cool cloudy day, 40 deg at 7 a.m. 58 deg at 4 p.m.
Diaz ducks - killed 2 all I did
Go north to Diaz duck pools this am.
ad to three of them again this eve.
saw no Diaz anchor or any other ducks.
Snow Geese - six flew over camp
at 6 p.m. ad went down on the
big lake
Crane (little brown) heard cranes
at 9 this morning over the lake.
Snatcher - saw two collected one.
Ringlet (Ruby Cr.) saw 4 in cotton wood
Crows - none
Wilson Snipe - usual number
Brewer Sparrow - Many
White Cr. "
Redwing blackbird - 2 males - little song
Rattlesnake - saw the first one - it
was in a little path in the
sacatone grass a few feet from
the mesquite near one of the pools.
