Santa Clara creek has considerable water. There is not a fast flow but the supply is continuous so that are many pools. Birds observed near the old camp sites on the Rio Santa Clara. Belted Kingfisher - 2 Spotted Sandpiper - 2 Greater Yellowlegs - 3 Dowitcher - 1 Mallard - 5 (one & collected) Green-winged Teal - 4 (on small pool at ford) Black Phoebe - 3 Vermillion flycatcher - 2 Wilson Snipe - 1
