Quail : 111 Common Bushtit : 7 Plain Titmouse : 2 Violet Green Swallow Hestrel. We hiked on Preston Ranch from about 11:30 - 15:30, going in our usual loop, first along N-W Ridge, then down to lower lake, thence along riparian corridor to Coyote Gulch, up Coyote Gulch to its Western head, then back over to east ridge, above Lafayette Valley Estates, finally back to lower lake, then up to Upper Lake.
