is probably not more than 50' in height in front, and
behind it is about 10' to its top. Further up the
hill from it is another small rock with a flat "table".
The prairie falcons are in a pothole in the 50' rock,
at its very crest:
The pothole is less than 5' from top of rock. Anyway,
Pat & I walked up the entire canyon to the reservoir,
costs & 1 pt. Mallards on water. Then we hiked
back down to the horse gate, and hiked up the
ridge (Pine Ridge) west of Pine Canyon. Sat
& ate lunch, & watched the second-to-last set
of rocks on the opposite hillside. Saw nothing
but 2 turkey vultures (>20), red-tails (3-5), and
