Ovary(left) with numerous small ova. weight: 850g No fat; sharp heel. wing length: right: 41.0cm primary length: 10: 28.0cm 9: 29.3cm 8: 28.7cm 7: 26.9cm 6: 25.02cm 5: 23.6cm tail length: 15.0cm tarsus: 5.96cm right Rt. middle toe: 5.90 cm head length: 11.93cm bill length: 5.55cm post.n: 3.31cm bill width: 1.22 cm bill depth: 'goups: 2.0 cm 'aut. m.: 1.99 cm 'post. m.: 1.85 cm Foodpatches: 3 bill, eye ring color: orange yellow irides: no pigment, straw yellow leg: fleshy pink Remarks: 4 hrs on ice before tissue taking. Removed 2 large, yellow, cheesy sack-like structures from both sides of body just internal to the spaces over lungs and kidneys. Of The structures are sac-like each large. Rt one 8 x 4 cm, left one 5x3cm. The sacks are closely applied to post borders of lungs, and along the ventral surface of kidneys. Had to dig sacks out of rectroes/rib cage and ant. synsacrum (tumors in air sacs?) Rest of internal organs seem normal. Ovary came out of sack. Preserved in formalin. Stomach: one nib, few stolids - contents saved. var: Rt Lobe: 8x3 cm Lft. Lobe: 5x3cm Yellow, cheesy inclusions, 2mm discs from embranes of thoracic cavity saved. Yellow chunk from wing/post girdle joint saved.
