May 27-
hawks, probably Western Redtails were seen flying around the tree tops undergoing aerial maneuvers and occasionally uttering piercing shrieks.
Hermit Thrush nest under observation despoiled as recorded in Dr Grinnell's notes.
Last night while the bats were flying half a dozen Violet Green Swallows were also actively in flight above the river catching insects and competing with the bats.
