The night before last was a bitter cold night. A crust of ice 1/8 to 1/4" in thickness covered the water basin and at 6:30 P.M. the camp thermo- meter read 33 deg F. All day long it was cold cloudy and rained off and on clearing up between spells. Then late in the afternoon it started to drizzle and kept it up steady all night long. Today with we have had some rain it has been for the most part warm and sunny - the first real sun we have experienced. In spite of the rain last night the trap line catch was good as
