Behle 1937 MVZ - U.C. Berkeley, Calif. March 19, 1937 acc. 5/99 Six horned larks received at MVZ March 19th in flesh. Collected by A.E. Borell on March 16, 1937, 1 mi. S of Santa Fe, New Mexico, 6900 ft. They were in pairs and seemed to be nesting. When prepared the gonads of the males were enlarged O but the ovaries were still quite small ♂ 1/21 Otororis alpestris 30.0g. ♂ 1/22 " " 29.2 g. ♂ 1/23 .. .. 28.6 g. ♂ 1/24 .. .. 31.7 g. ♀ 1/25 " " 24.5 g ♀ 1/26 .. .. 26.9 g April 27, 1937 acc 5234 ♀ 1/27 Caspian Tern Skeleton only - Rec'd in flesh at MVZ . Taken April 26, 1937 at Bay Farm Island, Alameda Co., California by Mr Chester S. Harshner, Jr. of 1201 Beach St. Alameda. County. Eggs as big as marbles.
