Behle 1936 H.C.-MVZ- Berkeley, Calif. with the ♀ domestic mallard and again succeeded in raising one bird, a male banded with B.S. band 34-546851. This was also killed by the dogs and is now in the MVZ (W.H.13 1092). Thus both these hybrid ducks are of 1936 but of different parentage: B.S. no. 34-546851 is the brother of the mother of B.S. No. 34-618591. The mother of B.S. 34- 618591 which is also the sister of B.S. 34- 546851 is still alive at Mr Eyberts and he is going to try further crosses. ♂ Badwall (wild) X ♀ mallard (domestic 1936 1935 one ♂ one ♀ (still alive) B.S.
