These four skins put up by me from
a batch of 85+ brought in by Fish & game
people from a roosting colony blasting 6 miles
West Pennington, Sutter Co. See also notebooks of
W.C. Russell and F.G Palmer. Of the lot there were
saved 3 crows as alcoholics, 22 skins, 60
skeletons, 82 stomachs and one ♂ Cooper Hawk
as skeleton. Data as to age, sex, weights, size of
gonads was compiled and sent to Dr Emlen at
Davis, see correspondence under Date of April 6 - "
