The Song Sparrow, Chickadee, Marsh
Wren and Burrowing Owl were taken
near a spring on the hillside along the
highway where willows and grass were
present but no large trees.
Horned Larks were not seen for
10 days or so since the last snow
storm. The 9 was black with soot
and grease on the under parts.
