Belle 1935 MV2 - H.C. - Berkeley, Calif. Mar. 19, 1935 879 Lildeer - Collected March 15, at Tanton's Spring, 6 mi W. Reno, 4600 ft., Washoe Co, Nevada. Saved as skeleton Not saved. See letter from Boyer to Sundale under date of March 18. The Song Sparrow, Chickadee, Marsh Wren and Burrowing Owl were taken near a spring on the hillside along the highway where willows and grass were present but no large trees. Horned Larks were not seen for 10 days or so since the last snow storm. The 9 was black with soot and grease on the under parts. March 20- acc. 4616 880 ♀ Say Choebe - Truckee, 5800 ft., Nev. Co., Calif. Mar. 19, 1935- 881 ♂ Creeper " " " 882 ♀ Creeper " " " These 3 birds shot by L.M. Boyer and sent into museum in the flesh. Gonads scarcely not at all enlarged.
