Behle 1933 Mad River ford, 200 ft. above Ruil. Trinity Co. Calif. May 21 beside large logs in the timber. Some instances a ? was taken at one end of the log and a ? at the other end. The other two were both males. 61 ♀ Chat - Songtailed. alt. 2700 ft. 24g. Shot in willow at river edge. 63 ♂ Chipmunk - stump crown 151-12-37-17 71.6 grams. Taken in mouse trap alongside log on May 20., altitude 2700 ft. 63 ♂ California Jay 90.8g Taken in Garry Oaks by R.M. Gilmore. Testes large. Size of a pea O 64 ♂ Sparrow Hawk 80.6 g Taken by R.M. gilmore. Testes small O 65 ♂ Chipping Sparrow 12.7g. Testes well developed. Taken in manzanta bush near river. 66 ♀ Junco - 17.4g. Taken in mouse trap at base of ceanotus cuneatus bush close to river. Ovary well developed ⚧ Trap line visited at 5:00 P.M. One ♂ Eutamias sonomae taken in rat trap at base of Douglas spruce when there were many dead logs about.
