Last night I added ten more
mouse traps to the Grinnell-Behle
line and also eight meeker gather
traps for moles - i.e. one facing either
way along the mole runway so
that there were in reality four sets.
All were in one location about 15 yds
apart. Considerable evidence of mole
workings. One mole was taken. The
mole runs, easily discernible by their pushed
up covering, extended out in open space
between manzanita bushes at the edge of
