Secondary 1 new, 2 1/2 grown, 3,4,5,6 old. 7 coming in, 8+9 new. The tertiaries certainly seem worn and old. Cluck this. Tail: outer two old, 3rd fallen, rest various stages. Little above center of back old, rest new. 8im 493 Ototoris alpestria rubea 27.8g. Primary 9 old, 8 starting, rest new. Secondary 1,2, & new, 3 starting, 4,5,6 new. 7 still ensheathed, 8+9 new. Here also the tertiaries appear old. Tail: outer feather old, rest graded on up to 3/4 grown center pair Body + back new. Head + neck old. ?im 494 Ototoris alpestria rubea 27.7 Primary 9 old, 8 a papillae, 7 3/4 grown rest new. Secondary 1+2 new; 3, 1/3 grown, 4,5,6 old, 7 coming in, 8+9 new- Tertiaries old. Tail as above. Also body + head. 495 Ototoris alpestria rubea 26.9g. Primary 9,8 old, 7 ensheathed, rest are new. Secondary 1 new, 2 nearly full grown, 3 dropped but no papilla yet, 4,5,6 old, 7 old, 8+9 new Tertiaries old. Coverts new except median
