Left wing: Primaries 9+8 old, 7 3/4 grown, rest new. Secondaries 1-2 new, 3 fallen + no sign of replacement, 4, 5, 6, old, 7+8 new; 9 fallen. Alula old. Primary coverts 8+9 old. All other wing coverts new. Right wing same except secondary No 8 also fallen. Tail: Inner pair rectrices 1/2 grown + grade down to 5th pair which are still entirely sheathed. Outer pair old. 4 upper tail coverts grade down from its center ones which are as tall as the middle pair of rectrices. 4th or outer pair no sign emerging from sheath. Under tail coverts new & practically grown. Crissum new. Rest of body plumage new. Head new except for a few jivial feathers on the upper neck & base of the head - so then a bird of the year. ♥ 465 Otocoris alpestris actia 31.2 grams Old bird with molt nearly complete. 8th outer primary one third grown. All rest new except outermost 9 which has dropped out and there is no evidence of a new feather growing there. Secondaries 1, 2, 3 new; 4 half grown, 5+6 old, 7, 8, 9 new. Tail. Inner pair practically full grown. Rest
