Otocoris alpestris actia 30.4 grams At last a juvenile in early post- juvenile molt. Primaries 9,8,7 old. 6 is a little more than half way grown. 5 is 3/4 grown, 4, 3 & 2 are new and seem full grown but 1 is only 1/3 grown. Primary covers 9,8,7 as old. Nos. 6 & 5 are growing to correspond with primaries. All other primary cverts are new. The distal 6 secondaries are old as yet showing no indications of replacement. The proximal 3 secondaries are confused. No 7 appears new but 8 & 9 are missing. Alula is old. The median coverts are old. The lesser cverts are all new. Marginal coverts are old. The greater coverts are new over the secondaries + those over the primaries have been noted. Under wing coverts are new. A row beneath the marginal cverts appears long sheathed feathers. Some of the upper scapulars are coming in new but the lower ones and the tertiarles with their coverts are old. Tail coverts both upper and under coming in new but rectrices are all old. Lower part of back is new but remainder old. Feathers on the upper part of the femoral tract new, rest old. Breast
