White-crowned Sparrow. 26.8g. Found dead in road, Strawberry Canyon Berkeley April 9 by Miss M. S. Allsop. 395 ? California Quail. 199 grams after 4 days. acc 4322 picked up in Golden Gate Park, San Fran. after having been struck by a car. brought in by Miss D. Sutton whose father picked it up. Saved as skeleton only. leg broken. Just ready to lay eggs.
