Davis on March 3rd. Put up March 6th, weighed that day so weights are probably all short. The junco has the same data except that it came from 6 miles N.E. Oroville. March 15- acc 4314 389 σ Spotted Towhee Mount. Taken by E.T. Hooker at head of Smith Canyon, East of State Deaf School Berkeley, Alameda co., Calif. on March 11. Caught in mouse trap. March 22- acc 4320 390 σ Otocoris alpestris actia 26.3g 391 σ " " [bird washed] 27.6 g 392 σ " " 28.2g 393 ς " " 24.9g These four birds collected on March 19, and sent to me by Miss Ynez Whiton, Hotel Tulare, Tulare, California.
