Sonoma co., Calif. March 2- acc. 4305 387 ♀ American Bittern Brought in by G. Tonkin. Picked up Feb. 26, 1934. 4 miles west of Gridley, Butte Co. Calif. An interesting case where one wing had at one time been broken and entirely healed but with a deformed bend in the humerus bone.
