Marsh Hawks were fairly common across Nevada so were Magpies, these latter birds being seen chiefly along the Humboldt rivers in all bottomlands & willow areas. MV2 - H.C. Berkeley, Calif. Jan. 4- 359 m? acc. 4262 Ferruginous Rough-leg Hawk. Near Hanford, Fresno Co., Calif. Brought in by Mrs Allen. Found Dec. 30 1933 hanging on a fence. A skeleton Jan. 17- acc 4272 360 ♀ Chalcophaps indica Skeleton only 361 ♂ " " "" 362 ♂ " " "study skin These three birds got in by E.W. Gifford from his aviary in Oakland. Jan. 18- acc 4273 363 ?
