It navigate well in deep water but here he is not satisfied with its performance. The propelling force comes from a rapid airplane motor and propeller mounted near the rear of the boat. The purpose of this craft was to be able to scare ducks from poisonous areas, to get quickly around the marshes and to run down and pick up sick ducks, transport them to fresh water. Several hundred a day could be thus saved. A successful performance was given for all these. He made the statement however that there were very few sick ducks this past year on the marshes. He also said that Archie Hall, one of the wardens on the Bear
