Shot at Monolith Dec 5. Part of Accession No. 4236. No 358 ♀ was badly shot and it was necessary to wash the blood off. When immersed in gasoline many feathers came out especially on the upper breast and neck. Also I thought there was a slight color change to the dark possibly from dust being washed out.
