Day clear and sunny. Temperature
at 7:15 is 53° F. Slight wind
from north.
Trap line this morning [40 mice
10 rat and 1 steel] but (1) ♀ ad Peromyscus m. subidus at base of
douglas Spruce at bottom of wash
and among comparatively dry
litter of bark scales, needles, small
Twigs (not saved); (2) ♀ ad Peromyscus
m. subidus from under old moss-
covered log, no litter just bare dirt
and holes going further under
log.
