Behle 1933. Coyote Peak, 3000 ft. Humboldt Co., Calif. 73 June 11. little run off however, only occasional seepage areas. June 11. Day clear and sunny. Temperature at 7:15 is 53° F. Slight wind from north. Trap line this morning [40 mice 10 rat and 1 steel] but (1) ♀ ad Peromyscus m. subidus at base of douglas Spruce at bottom of wash and among comparatively dry litter of bark scales, needles, small Twigs (not saved); (2) ♀ ad Peromyscus m. subidus from under old moss- covered log, no litter just bare dirt and holes going further under log. 151 ♂ Chipping Sparrow 12.3 g Testes O [im edge timber] Taken by R.M. gilmore from Garry Oak. 152 ♀ Pine Siskin 11.0g Testes O Taken by Dr. grinnell from Garry Oak on Bald side of ridge 3000 ft. This morning set out 8 gopher traps in 4 sets and this afternoon they best (1) ♂ ad Thomomys bottae from set down in pocket of prairie (2) ♀ ad Thomomys bottae some 50 yards from the 1st one;
