In rebaiting trap line yesterday (June 9) one 4 ad. Eutamias townsendi found in mouse trap at bottom of shallow draw under overhanging bank and roots. Trap line this morning (40 mice and 10 rat) got one 6? ad. Peromyscus m. rubidus from small hole at base of Douglas Spruce when it was dry; one Clethionomys californicus from under log among damp litter of leaves of oaks, ferns + pine needles, the same material overhanging and the whole being quite damp.
