Behle 1933 Horse Mt. 4700 ft. Humboldt Co. Calif. June 6- 138 & Green-tailed Towhee 27.6g. Taken by Gilmor from shrub at 5000 ft. in open country and scattered timber Testes large - 139 & Leucurus douglasii: 341-137-51-17 3.29.29 No embryos - Taken by Gilmor at 5000 ft. from Douglas Spruce in dense timber. 23 mouse traps set in Macutus run ways in clumps of scirpus in marshy area at 4100 ft. This afternoon lost: 3 in. micratus oregon? each of which was so badly chewed up and semi-destroyed by beetles, ants and possibly other micratus that they could not be sexed or saved. 8 gopher traps in 4 sets beat one & in. Elonomys monticole. This came from the same set that an adult had previously been taken from. June 7- 80 traps (30 rat and 50 mouse) this morning lost: 1 & neotoma fuscipes (not saved) from top of large log curlu and among which a nest had been built; one & Sorex trowbridgii from under a large huckleberry oak on a dry steep slope some 25 yards from the
